Thank you for supporting Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) through our Christmas Shop. Every purchase helps us train and provide assistance dogs to autistic children and their families across Ireland.

Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Order Cancellations

Once an order has been placed, AADI does not accept discretionary cancellation requests or order changes.

Please check your items, quantities and delivery details carefully before completing your purchase.

This policy does not affect your statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, as provided under Irish and EU consumer law.

To exercise this statutory right, please email info@aadi.ie within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

2. Returns

We do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges for unwanted items outside your statutory consumer rights.

Where a statutory right of cancellation applies, returned items should be securely packaged and sent back in accordance with the instructions provided by AADI.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs when exercising their statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

Please contact info@aadi.ie before returning an item so we can provide the appropriate return address.

3. Refunds

Refunds are provided where required under Irish consumer law, including eligible statutory cancellations and remedies for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

For eligible statutory cancellations, we will refund the price paid and the applicable standard delivery charge. Any additional cost for premium delivery is not refundable.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, although we may withhold payment until the goods have been returned or proof of return has been provided.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact info@aadi.ie with your order number and details of the issue.

Where possible, include photographs to help us resolve the matter quickly.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights, including repair, replacement or refund where applicable.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products, including personalised or custom-made goods, may be exempt from the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

These exemptions do not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

6. Christmas Purchases

As our Christmas Shop is a seasonal fundraising initiative, we do not offer an extended Christmas returns period.

The statutory cancellation and consumer rights outlined above continue to apply.

7. Donations

Donations made directly to AADI are separate from merchandise purchases and are not subject to the standard merchandise returns process.
